The mission of MTSO is to provide theological education and leadership in pursuit of a just, sustainable and generative world. The school offers five graduate degrees: Master of Divinity, MA in Social Justice, MA in Practical Theology, Master of Theological Studies and Doctor of Ministry.
While MTSO is honored to be affiliated with the United Methodist Church, it benefits from greater diversity than its name might indicate. Students and faculty from 19 different denominations and faith traditions teach and learn together on the school's beautiful hillside campus.
