2024 CSA Seasons

This year, we offer three distinct seasons for Community Supported Agriculture members.

Our spring CSA season has sold out. Summer season begins June 4. Fall season begins Oct. 8.

Community Supported Agriculture forms a direct relationship between people and the land. Each season the Seminary Hill Farm team – the farmer, coordinator, interns and seminary students – tends plants and soil to grow an array of vegetables, flowers and herbs.

Our goal is to provide a balanced selection of Ohio favorites along with less-seen vegetables that can enhance your eating experience. We farm without the use of synthetic herbicides, pesticides or fertilizers, and all seed stock is non-GMO.

CSA members enter into a relationship of trust. We do our best to provide members with an array of nutritious vegetables, herbs and flowers. Members understand that there are uncertainties in farming, and they share the bounty and the risks.

About your CSA share

Your share won’t be pre-packed. Each week’s offerings are set out to allow members to select and pack their own shares.

Depending on the crop, some vegetables may be pre-portioned and others unrestricted. Seminary Hill Farm follows the ethics of an honorable harvest, taking what one needs. Surplus is donated to food-insecure communities.

Added CSA member benefits

In addition to food shares, members receive:

  • A weekly Fresh Sheet newsletter with food preparation tips and recipes, farm team profiles and plant spotlights.
  • Invitations to special events on the farm and the MTSO campus.
  • An open invitation to spend time in the fields for an afternoon or a day.
