Spring Wreath Making Class
Saturday, March 23rd
1pm - 3:30pm
The Walnut Room at Seminary Hill Farm
$75.00 per person
Welcome in the season of Spring at Seminary Hill Farm with a class on wreath making led by the talented Katie of Old Slate Farm and hosted by Seminary Hill Farm Kitchen’s professional baker, Sarah Black.
Create Your Own Wreath
Join us for an elegant afternoon of beautiful florals along with bread and pastry delights. Katie of Old Slate Farm will lead a class in crafting a hand-tied spring wreath using seasonal, fragrant, and colorful floral elements. Participants will be provided with all materials and will leave with a wreath and the knowledge for how to create more seasonal wreaths at home using foraged greens from the outdoors and dried flowers from their gardens.
Enjoy Delicious Pastries
At the beginning of the class, we will serve a light lunch including the new Seminary Hill Farm brioche tart with a unique and delicious floral design and a small salad of seasonal farm greens. Each member of the class will also be given a takeaway package of our citrus cookies with rosemary, lavender and lemon icing.
Celebrate a Unique Experience
We are pleased to announce that this class will take place in the intimate Walnut Room featuring the stunning walnut tables that were designed and crafted by A Carpenter’s Son. This incredible local team used the wood from a Walnut tree on our farm and created a space where we can gather and celebrate as a community. We can’t think of a better fit than bringing all of these elements together for a day of learning how farming life means enjoying life.
