A "Taste of Country" Farm Harvest Dinner

Come celebrate harvest season under the autumn sky at Burnt Toast Farms located just minutes north of the Columbus in Marysville, Ohio.  The culinary team at Seminary Hill Farm Kitchen leads our next "Taste of Country" Farm Dinner using ingredients harvested directly from Seminary Hill Farm.   Begin the meal with a hearty autumn soup filled with flavor and fragrance. Pasture-raised, wood-foraged pork and kale stew or a vegan butternut squash bisque is available for you to choose from. Stuffed poblano peppers filled with a mixture of tomatoes, sweet corn, black beans, brown rice, scallions and a garlic then topped with an avocado drizzle will follow.  Chile-rubbed, delicately roasted pasture-raised chicken with spicy collard greens and smoked poblano au gratin potatoes will be served as the main course.   As the evening draws near, guests are treated to an educational experience with Rebecca Monday of Harvest Kitchen and Curio.  She will be there teaching guests how to make savory holiday concoctions and warm spirited libations.  In between festivities, guests are invited to tour the property and barns to acquaint themselves with those hidden, but not unseen, exotic and enchanting creatures known as alpacas and discover peaceful moments in the fields and meadows.  Enjoy an evening at Burnt Toast Farms where the beautiful fall surroundings serve as the back drop to an elegant meal, friendly conversation and delicious cocktails.
