Come celebrate the changing fall season under the autumn sky at Seminary Hill Farm, located just minutes north of the Columbus in Delaware, Ohio. We are partnering with Burnt Toast Farm for a "Taste of the Country" Harvest Farm dinner where friendly conversation and the toasting of glasses will be the only sounds you will hear. Whether it is the picturesque scenery or the professionally prepared local cuisine, this evening promises to be one you will not soon forget.
For this event, the culinary team at Seminary Hill Farm Kitchen has created a rich and savory menu using ingredients harvested directly from Seminary Hill Farm. Each element of the meal is carefully planned to give each guest an opportunity to truly experience the local food grown within our region this time of year. Begin the meal with a hearty autumn soup filled with flavor and fragrance. Pasture-raised, wood-foraged pork and kale stew or a vegan butternut squash bisque is available for you to choose from. Stuffed poblano peppers filled with a mixture of tomatoes, sweet corn, black beans, brown rice, scallions and a garlic then topped with an avocado drizzle will follow. Chile-rubbed, delicately roasted pasture-raised chicken with spicy collard greens and smoked poblano au gratin potatoes will be served as the main course.
